Brian Sudduth, senior vice president of Miller Construction Company, has been appointed to the University of Florida (UF) M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management’s Advisory Council Executive Committee.

Comprised of alumni who are top executives in various construction industry segments, the 25-member Executive Committee develops the Advisory Council’s programs and policies in support of the nation’s longest-running school of construction management.

As a key executive and shareholder of Miller Construction Company, Sudduth brings more than 17 years of national and regional industry experience to his role with the Fort Lauderdale-based firm. He oversees project delivery, leads cost analysis and detailed budgeting and is responsible for directing the design/build and construction services firm’s preconstruction department.

Sudduth joined Miller Construction in 2005 and was named senior vice president in 2009. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from UF and has national certifications as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) AP and BD+C professional from the U.S. Green Building Council. Active in the region’s commercial real estate industry, he is a member of the Construction Association of South Florida and the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Association’s South Florida Chapter.
