A vital new behavioral health resource, the Central Receiving Facility and Crisis Stabilization Unit provides a hospitality feel while addressing security considerations. Miller’s innovative solutions produced cost savings throughout the phased project for non-profit Henderson Behavioral Health.

Crews first installed a lift station and sewer line to tie into the City’s sanitary system, and removed the site’s septic tank. Reconfiguring public and staff parking areas ensured smooth operations for Henderson’s adjacent clinical services building.

Nearing completion, the new facility with state-of-the-art access control will accommodate a total of 48 patients in four stand-alone units. Each unit includes six patient rooms, visitor/activity areas, living/dining rooms and quiet social spaces. The structure also features a reception area, offices, exam rooms, staff lounges and an outdoor recreation area with basketball court. Millwork, finishes and soothing colors create a feeling of home.
