Miller Completes State-of-the-Art Office Building for Kelley Kronenberg
From its ground-floor mock courtroom and collaborative workstations to the landscaped rooftop terrace, the new 35,000-square-foot headquarters Miller Construction completed this summer in Davie for law firm Kelley Kronenberg previews fresh law firm office trends.
Kelley Kronenberg’s more than 150 legal professionals and staff members moved into the new two-story, tilt-wall structure at 10360 W. State Road 84 in July. Designed by Cabrera Ramon Architects of Doral, the building features a dramatic floating staircase leading from the lobby to glass-paneled balcony, with high-end carpentry throughout the building.
In addition to private office suites, the headquarters fosters collaboration and innovation with co-working common spaces, large conference areas, smaller “huddle” rooms for brainstorming, a dedicated education center for training and an employee café. The mock courtroom with cameras and monitors adds convenience for clients participating in trial preparation on-site or remotely. Law firm associates can gather, eat and conduct meetings at the 3,300-square-foot rooftop terrace. With canopy-covered wet bar and restrooms, the rooftop terrace also serves as an open-air venue for client and firm events.
“Every aspect of the new headquarters reflects Kelley Kronenberg’s focus on quality and a collaborative professional culture,” said Miller President Brian Sudduth. “The building creates a positive environment for the firm’s clients, associates and staff by combining comfort, plus flexible, efficient spaces and advanced technology.”
