BOCA RATON, Fla., August 1, 2008 - Miller Construction Company has completed 5Palms, a luxurious new mixed-use residential development near Mizner Park in Boca Raton. Located at 455 E. Palmetto Park Road, 5Palms features 16 condominiums plus 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The nine-story building has two units on each floor with loft ceilings up to 18 feet high on the top floor.

     “Our primary construction challenge was the building’s tight footprint since a restaurant is directly on the property line,” said Miller’s Les Weaver, Project Manager. “That posed difficulties in receiving material deliveries, hoisting them to the upper floors and removing the construction formwork.”

     5Palms’ upscale touches include Turkish stone on the ground floor exterior, and Venetian plaster and a stainless-steel waterwall fountain feature in the lobby. The second floor recreation level features glass tiles and a stainless-steel pool. “The residences, which include a private elevator lobby, are delivered designer-ready,” added Weaver. “This is an exceptionally attractive building in a very convenient Boca location.”
