Miller Construction Company to Build
Florida National College Classroom Facility

HIALEAH, Fla. -- Florida National College has selected Miller Construction Company as design/builder for a new mid-rise classroom facility and parking garage expansion at the private, four-year urban commuter college’s main campus in Hialeah.

The new Florida National College structure is now in design development and will include classrooms, a full-floor library/media center and labs for physics, chemistry, biology and anatomy, along with customized teaching areas for the school’s nursing and dental hygienist programs. Miller will also add several stories to an existing parking garage.

Design architect is Falkanger Snyder Martineau & Yates of Fort Lauderdale, which is teaming with ACAI Associates, Inc., architects of Miami.

According to Miller Construction Company President Harley Miller, “The facility’s design will support Florida National College’s established approach of providing quality education through intensive courses of study in small classes, with highly advanced technology.” In addition to Allied Health Sciences and Nursing, the college’s divisions include Business & Economics, Humanities & Fine Arts, and ESOL.
